Chartreuse + Lavender Grey
Fringing my way around
I recently had the opportunity (read: forced to) look decent because I was meeting people in a more professional setting. A button-up shirt and a demure skirt is a must, but I’m not one to dress quietly, so I picked the most electrifying colour to go with a very calm hue. I do like how it turned out!
I have actually worn this shirt and shoes together before; click HERE to see how I styled them then!
That fringe skirt is possibly the most fun piece I own, so I will be talking more about it in my next blog post. I wish I took a photo while swishing around, but guess I’ll save that for another day!
The weather has been ridiculous lately because the heat coupled with the humidity made it so uncomfortable to even breathe. Which is why I love having my sleeves rolled up nowadays; I learned this technique from Jenna Lyons (when she was still with J.Crew); it is my favourite method to cuff my shirt sleeves, because I really love seeing them folded like an origami art, and different fabrics will make them look different every time.
My earrings aren’t very visible in the photos, but they were part of a zodiac line that I knew I had to have in my collection. It took me more than a decade to hunt for my own star sign, but the wait was so worth it!

On a random note, I really need to let that bag go on a vacation soon; I have been making it work way too hard these days!
