Resort style for the city
When I found out I was heading to the city in the early morning until late afternoon, I knew I was getting into hot soup. I wasn’t off; it felt like what was the hottest day of that week, coupled with the uncomfortable humidity.
Naturally, I had to pick the breeziest dress in a gauzy fabric, and it did not disappoint. Thankfully, I also got to dehumidify (HAH!) in a shopping mall before heading home, so all is well…
I have always wanted this dress in my collection, so seeing it finally hanging in my closet makes me giddy with excitement. Also, I’m glad that I finally got to bring out my other bags; they’re in serious need of sunshine and attention. Plus, my poor beige Marc Jacobs quilted Cammie bag needed a well-deserved rest!
I love this dress so much that I’m already planning other outfits with it, but it will be awhile until you see it again. It has started raining since; so the weather has cooled down considerably. Until then, I shall just caress it from time to time, until the next heat wave hits!
