I always get excited when it comes to trending jewelry, because I get inspired to look at my own collection at a different light. Since Porter has come up with their predictions for this year, let’s get right into it!
Layered necklaces:
I picked this vintage Accessocraft NYC tribal necklace, because I love the pendants and little charms all around. I like that fact it is already layered, so it saves me the headache from trying to mix and match, and risk tangling all the dainty chains while fastening and unfastening.

Nothing makes a statement more than a oversized brooch, and this Kenneth Jay Lane embellished bull is one of my favourites. I decided to pair it with bright chartreuse and muted pink to keep the look playful.
T-shirt: Lefonse | Vintage skirt suit: Christian Lacroix | Shoes: Gucci | Vintage bag: Gianni Versace Pearls, pearls, and more pearls:
Chanel pearls are a must-have for costume jewelry collectors, so I think it is apt for me to pick these earrings. These are HUGE in real life; definitely not for the faint-hearted. I decided to play up the drama by mixing it with exotic and opulent prints, because although wearing them with a black dress alone is too predictable for my liking.
Top: Chloé | Vintage skirt: Christian Lacroix | Vintage shoes: Gianni Versace | Bag: Alexander McQueen | Vintage earrings: Chanel Snake motifs:
This makes a lot of sense because 2025 is the Year of the Snake after all. This Joseph Mazer snake pendant necklace looks amazing on a plain white dress, and pairing it with python print heels are a great way to stick to the theme.
Dress: H&M | Shoes: Nicholas Kirkwood | Bag: Marc Jacobs | Vintage necklace: Joseph Mazer Beads:
Admittedly, I don’t have too many beaded jewelry. However, I couldn’t resist picking up this Kenneth Jay Lane squash blossom necklace because I love the mottled turquoise beads. I decided to pair it with light-washed barrel jeans that is a similar shade to the beads, but punch it up further by wearing a brightly-coloured blouse.
