Red + Green + Black
Cherry cherry lady
Christmas has come and gone, and now we’re here right before the year ends. So, what do you do when you’re still feeling a little Christmassy?
You dress like it.
Don’t talk to me about the Lunar New Year; it’s way too soon! I was horrified by all the songs and red + gold decorations that literally went up a day after Christmas, UGH.
Although sequinned pieces feel overkill by now, I think mixing red and green is still pretty. And what better way to do that, other than wearing a cherry-print dress?
This dress is one of those that looks frumpy on a hanger and don’t photograph well, but it looks amazing in real life when worn. Of course my tubby self didn’t do it justice, but I’m just thankful I could still zip up the dress after all the Christmas feasts!

I like how this outfit turned out because the silver plays up the cool tones beautifully. I’ve decided to try wearing more silver pieces because they usually play second fiddle to my gold ones; they need some lovin’ and exposure too.
I love red lipsticks, but they are a nightmare to remove. I save it for special occasions, so this is an opportune moment. I’m wearing Pat McGrath’s LuxeTrance Lipstick in Major Red, which is a cool red with blue undertones that makes my teeth look brighter. I’m so bummed that Pat McGrath has discontinued the LuxeTrance line completely; I like the creamy satin formula that dries up a little matte and doesn’t settle into lip lines.
Anyway, I cannot wait for New Year’s to come! I have a whole bunch of outfits lined up, and I hope they look as good as I imagined them to be, hah.
